Dear 6th Grade Families,
 Week of 5/29/17
Math -  Topic 11, Percents.  Division skills are key for this concept.
** I can stay after school for extra help in math on Thursdays, unless I am working in the After School Program.  Students should check in with me daily/weekly**
Science -  Unit 1, 'The Universe'.    Unit 1 Test will be Tuesday, May 30th.  This will be an 'open notes' test.  **Students worked on a Unit 1 packet for homework last week.  We reviewed it, and they jotted down 'notes' to help them focus on certain concepts for the test.  They should keep their  unit packet, as they will be able to use it for their test on next Tuesday.  They should still review the lessons, and follow the study guide given in class on Wednesday.  If they study a little every day, there should be no reason to cram on their Monday holiday.  I made every effort to give them all the tools they will need to succeed  early enough this week.  Students should make every effort to come to class next Tuesday with their packet.
