Welcome Kindergarten Families! I am so excited for another wonderful school year! I can’t wait to get to know your children and watch them learn, grow, make new friends, and create special memories throughout the year. ❤️

🥜 Peanut & Tree Nut-Free Classroom
Our classroom is a peanut-free and tree nut-free classroom. Please be mindful when packing your child’s snacks and lunches and make sure they do not contain peanuts or tree nuts. Thank you for helping us keep our classroom safe for all of our students!
🍎 Here’s a Peek at What We’ve Been Working on So Far!
📚 Language Arts:
We are learning the letter sounds for R, N, B, D, and short i! We are also beginning our second unit of MyView Literacy.
Our Words to Know are: I, am, the, a, to, like, he, is, have, my, we, make, me, for, and with.
We are continuing to practice writing our names, forming our letters correctly, and writing neatly on the lines. We are working hard to become confident readers and writers!
🔢 Math:
We are wrapping up our numbers 6–10! Students have been practicing recognizing, writing, counting, and showing these numbers in different ways. We are also learning how numbers can be represented using pictures, objects, and number words.
✝️ Religion:
Our virtue for this month is Reverence!
Reverence means showing love, respect, and honor to God, others, and the wonderful world He created. In kindergarten, we are learning that we can practice reverence by using our listening ears during prayer and Mass, treating others with kindness, taking care of God’s creations, and remembering that church is a special place where we show our love and respect for God.
We will continue practicing ways to show reverence both inside and outside the classroom!

Notices
- For birthdays, the students will be allowed to dress down. They will also be allowed to bring in treats to class. We have 12 students (7 girls and 5 boys). I also want to remind everyone that if you are bringing in treats please make sure they are peanut/treenut free.
- Reminder: Please make sure your child has a snack for snack time, even if they get a hot lunch they still need a snack to have during snack time. Thank you.
