Greetings 4th graders and families!
As we enter the month of June, I just want to provide a few updates.
Religion-we are finishing up the last 2 weeks of lessons left in our religion books. Our final Unit has been focusing on the Ten Commandments.
ELA- We have completed our My View Books, Spelling, grammar, and vocabulary. We have also completed all novel studies. We will focus on review of these topics in the next 2 weeks.
Math- We have completed both of our Math books and our times tables 2 times around now. Please continue to practice your facts in the summer, as they are important to know by heart for all your math going forward!! We will be reviewing skills that we have learned all year over these last 2 weeks.
Science-Science has been completed
Social Studies- We will be finishing up Social Studies learning about the Western region of the United States.
A few fun events are taking place in the next 2 weeks as well:
Tuesday, June 3rd-Tropical Dress Down Day (appropriate length shorts please!!)
Friday, June 6th-School Wide Book Swap
Sunday June 8th @ 10:30 am at OLC Mrs. Krow’s retirement mass
Tuesday June 10th- Faculty VS 8th Grade basketball game
Thursday June 12th-Field Day and BBQ Rain or shine!!
Monday June 16th-End of School Year Mass @9:30am-all are welcome!!
Tuesday June 17th-Last Day of School. Dismissal @ 11:30am NO AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM
I have enjoyed having you all in my class this year and will miss you all SO much!! I’m so proud of you and all you have accomplished this year. Make sure you come to visit me next year!! Have a wonderful summer!!

- tissues-4 cube boxes to start (may need replenishing throughout year) your child will keep a box in their own bin at their desk.
- Paper Towels-3 Rolls
- Clorox/Lysol wipes for our daily desk cleanings-3 containers to start (may need replenishing throughout the year)
- Hand Sanitizer (small bottles) 2 needed
- Sponges for the nurse
- 2 Containers of WET ONES hand wipes
- 2-3 packages of TICONDEROGA brand pencils (pre sharpened preferred) These are shared as a class
- 1 package of blue or black ink ERASEABLE pens
- 1 package of red pens for correcting
- 2 packages of EXPO SKINNY black dry erase markers for our dry erase boards
- 1 package (8-12 pk) Skinny magic markers
- 1 package (8-12pk) broad tip magic markers
- 24 pack of crayons
- 1 package of 12 colored pencils
- 1 package of highlighters
- A package of glue sticks
- 1- 2 pocket folder for Math
- 1-2 packages of WIDE RULED filler paper (NO NOTEBOOKS!!!-I will send them home)
- Headphones for computers
- 1-2 Soft pencil cases for crayons, colored pencils and markers. (We share all other supplies)
- 2 packages of multiplication flash cards (1 for HOME practice and 1 for school practice)
*PLEASE DO NOT send in scissors, manual pencil sharpeners, mechanical pencils, sharpies, little erasers, rulers, or “extra little doo-dads”
**I have provided your student with a yellow homework folder, a Religion folder, and a blue fix and finish folder.
