Spring has sprung…
And we are entering the home stretch of the school year! Reports card are heading home, and we are in Q4? Time flies…
We have our field trip on the horizon, and we will be fundraising to visit Lexington and Concord at the end of May
Please make sure you enroll (or unenroll) your child for next year before the deadline!

History Classes Notes:
PLEASE NOTE:
Grade 5 – Early American History
We have begun to study the beginning of the American Revolution, while studying this content we are also watching Liberty’s Kids, and reading Johnny Tremain.
Grade 6 – U.S. History I
Students are continuing to move through the early history of the United States as we focus on the Jacksonian Era, and into Westward Expansion.
Grade 7 – U.S. History II
Grade 7 has begun to learn about early 20th century history with the age of inventions, the roaring 20s, Prohibition, and Women’s Suffrage. And will culminate with WWI and WWII.
Grade 8 – Ancient Civilizations
The 8th graders have finished up their studies on Ancient Greece and Greek Mythology and begun to learn about Ancient Rome and Roman Mythology. We will contrast and compare the two, culminating in a Unit Test on all four topics. We will close out the year with Medieval England and Feudal Japan.
