Homeroom Notes:

Fall is upon us!
We have had our first round of sharing morning prayers with the school, we have led our first mass, and we are fully into our curriculum as well as homeroom shenanigans.

On Thursday 10/29 we will have out 6th grade homeroom Halloween party. Please feel free to send in a snack, dessert, etc. But I will have Halloween gifts for my students and some snacks as well.

Optional Parent-Teacher Conferences are available on November 10th, email for a time slot if requested.

History Classes Notes:

PLEASE NOTE:

All Middle School students will be pausing usual History studies for assignments around Hispanic Heritage Month, Columbus Day, Halloween, Election Season, Veteran’s Day, and Thanksgiving.

CURRENT CLASS UPDATES:

Grade 5 – Early American History
Students are currently learning about the Early American Groups and Native Peoples of the Americas.

Grade 6 – U.S. History I
Students have begun to review the beginnings of the American Revolution and will continue into the ending and the creation of the United States.

Grade 7 – U.S. History II
Students have begun the study of the Civil War, which will be broken out into 3 sections and end with a Unit Exam.

Grade 8 – Ancient Civilizations
Students have begun the study of early civilization including the Fertile Crescent and Mesopotamian Civilizations.
