Welcome to Our Kindergarten Class

Important News and Information

** I wanted to inform all our Kindergarten parents that our classroom is a Peanut/Treenut free class due to allergies within the classroom. Please know that if your child is bringing in snacks or lunch from home it needs to be free of these allergies to ensure the safety for all our students.  Thank you for your help and support. **

We’ve had such a wonderful start to the school year! I am so happy with how our kindergartners are adjusting. They are such a kind, hard-working group, and I couldn’t be prouder of them.

Here’s a peek at what we’ve been working on so far:

  • Language Arts: “Ending sounds” the sound that comes at the end of a word. The short “o” sound.
  • Math: Continuing Addition, focusing on having the students solve problems with sums of 0 to 5 and will move up to 6 to 10.
  • Religion: This is the month of purity. This is also the month of Advent so we will be focusing on each week of advent, as well as focusing around the First Christmas when Christ was born.
