We have had such a wonderful and exciting start to our school year in Preschool! The children have been busy learning our classroom rules and becoming familiar with our daily routines. We have been practicing recognizing and identifying our names, and we have begun learning letters, their sounds, and how to write our letter of the week.
Throughout all of our learning, one of our main focuses has been helping the children learn how to share, take turns, and be kind and caring friends. We are working together to build a classroom community where everyone feels welcomed, loved, and supported—just as God calls us to treat one another with kindness, compassion, and respect.
Fall themes for the month of October:
September 21st- September 25th- Fall: The students will learn about fall and the signs of fall!
September 28th-October 2nd – Apples; the students will learn about parts of an apple, and we will make applesauce and have an apple tasting!
October 5th- October 9th– Pumpkins; the students will explore a pumpkin and use their 5 senses to describe the pumpkin!
October 12th- October 16th– Nocturnal Animals; the students will learn about what a nocturnal!
October 19th- October 30th – Spooky Fun/Halloween; the students will explore fun fall stories and learn about Halloween and safety!

It’s been such a joy watching them learn and grow together. Our classroom is full of laughter, creativity, and friendship—and we are learning through play every single day!
