Hello Families!
I hope you’re all having a festive and relaxing summer. I’m looking forward to seeing all of you at our preschool “meet and greet” on August 26, 5:30-6:30, as we prepare for a wonderful preschool year.
If you’d like to get a jump on things, here is a list of supplies I ask your child to bring for preschool:
A family photo (4×6 or 5×7) – no frame needed!
Backpack – large enough to hold extra clothes, a jacket, and your child’s daily folder
Lunch box (if bringing lunch from home)*
Filled water bottle that will travel to and from school*
A change of clothes (including socks, shoes, and underwear) in a gallon sized Ziplock bag *
A reusable shopping bag with nap items – a small blanket and small pillow*, small stuffy optional
A large old t-shirt to serve as a painting smock*
One Crayola watercolor tray, 8 colors only*
Two large glue sticks*
A small bottle of white glue*
A roll of select a size paper towels
A box of tissues
A container of antibacterial cleaning wipes
A large pack of baby wipes (for hand and face cleanups after snacks and crafts)
*PLEASE LABEL THESE ITEMS.
NAP ITEMS: Please send ONLY a small pillow and a small blanket, in a standard-size, reusable shopping bag. Your child may bring a stuffie or doll that does not make noise and that can stay at school for the week. Nap items will be sent home weekly to be washed.
We can also always use the following, and donations are greatly appreciated:
- Large empty oatmeal containers with lids
- Newspaper for our art table
- Card stock paper (any color)
- Feathers, large googly eyes, pom-poms, other fun crafty things (sometimes our best crafts come for random things parents send in “just in case”)
- Extra baby wipes and paper towels (we go through a lot!)
- Gallon Ziploc bags
- Plastic store bags (for soiled clothes, etc.)
