THE SCHOOL OFFICE HAS A LIMITED SUPPLY OF NAVY BLUE LOGO SWEATSHIRTS IN BOTH HOODED AND CREW NECK STYLE FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN.   PLEASE CALL THE SCHOOL OFFICE FOR PRICE SHEET AND AVAILABILITY.

Boys (August – June)

Grades Kindergarten through 8th grade

  • Navy blue uniform style pants only
  • Navy blue V-neck cardigan with Mater Dolorosa Catholic School only
  • Light blue or white polo shirt with Mater Dolorosa Catholic School logo (long or short sleeve)
  • Dress shoes or sneakers that fully cover the foot in muted colors of black, navy blue, gray, brown, or tan. Fad type, bright, light-up, or wheeled shoes or sneakers are not allowed.

Girls (August – June)

Girls in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade

  • Gray & blue kilt skirt or jumper
  • Light blue or white polo shirt with Mater Dolorosa Catholic School logo (long or short sleeve)
  • Navy blue button-up or V-neck cardigan with Mater Dolorosa Catholic School logo only
  • Navy blue, gray or white knee socks or tights (solid colors);navy blue or gray leggins may be worn
  • Dress shoes or sneakers that fully cover the foot in muted colors of black, navy blue, gray, brown, or tan. Fad type, bright, light-up, or wheeled shoes or sneakers are not allowed. High heels are not allowed

Girls in grades 6- 8 (August –June)

  • Gray & blue kilt skirt

Gym Uniforms

  • Navy blue sweatpants with the Mater Dolorosa Catholic School logo only
  • Gray t-shirt with Mater Dolorosa Catholic School logo only
  • Sneakers – Must be in muted colors or black, navy blue, gray, brown, or tan. Fad type, bright or sneakers with lights or wheels are not allowed.

Hair

All Students

Unconventional, bizarre, and eccentric hairstyles or coloring of any kind are not permitted. Feather and tinsel are also not permitted. Headbands, barrettes, elastic bands/scrunchies must be muted in color or match the school uniform pattern.

Boys

Hair may not be lower than the top of the ears on the side or longer than the top of the collar in the back.

Jewelry

Necklaces may be worn if religious in nature. One single bracelet may be worn by girls in grades 6-8 only and must be small, silver or gold. Watches may be worn by students in grades 6-8 only.

Earrings are permitted as follows:

  • Boys: Earrings are not allowed
  • Girls: One single earring only. No dangling earrings, extra- large loops, or eccentric type earrings allowed.

Tattooing or body scarring or writing on one’s body with pen or marker is not permitted. Fake tattoos are not allowed.

Make Up

Make up is not allowed during the school day. This includes lip-gloss, eyeliner, etc. Light colored nail polish is acceptable.  Fake nails are NOT acceptable.

Seasonal Uniform – August – October 31st; May 1st – June end of school (date TBD)

Optional: Warm Weather School and Gym Uniform

  • Navy blue school uniform walking shorts only (must be knee length, no substitutions). Cargo shorts are not allowed
  • Light blue or white polo shirts with Mater Dolorosa Catholic School logo only
  • Shoes/sneakers that fully cover the foot in muted colors of black, navy blue, gray, brown, or tan may be worn
  • Socks must be solid white, gray, or navy blue and worn/seen at all times
  • No flip-flops, crocs, sandals or backless shoes may be worn
  • Gym – Navy blue gym shorts with the Mater Dolorosa Catholic School logo only
    • Gray t-shirt with the Mater Dolorosa Catholic School logo only
