Preschool 4 (Mrs. Strand)

Happy Winter, Preschool Families!

Our little community continues to grow in social awareness, making great strides in communication, sharing, taking turns, resolving conflicts, and making friends.

We continue to work on phonological awareness and letter recognition with help from a tutor from Catapult Learning, who joins us twice a week to develop these important early literacy skills.

We continue playing with words that rhyme through songs, fingerplays, and games. For math we practice recognizing numerals, number ordering, and counting on. 

We'll be enjoying some winter crafts, a little cozy baking, and some science in the coming weeks.

As for the rest of what will be happening in Preschool 4 - it will likely be directed by the children! They have wonderful ideas.
